The liar, the deceiver seeks to steal away the breath
Of the man who walks upright, of the man who stands alone when his hope is gone, when his friends have all moved on.
He rips the joy from his heart and mind
Taking the sight from his spiritual eyes
If that day ever comes to you, who will you trust, what will you do?
Guard your heart, guard your mind.
The language of a coward hidden in lies.
I’d rather carry the burden of truth
than the words of the liar and regret the day I ever turned away from you.
I will never
I believe the truth
I'll never go the easy way
He whispers a lie
But I scream the truth
Quoting the words of my destiny
The snakes head, under my feet
Under my feet and crushed beneath me
His words, are useless, against me.
No one remembers the liar
Only the one who brought us the truth
He was the witness of the Ancient of Days
Across his back lay the burden of proof
With every drop of blood, with every step, he bore my sins, freed me from death
Burden of truth
Carry my cross for you
I scream the Truth
Believe the words of your destiny
Your head crushed beneath me

This is sort of my reintroduction to Zao, after leaving off when they released 'Awake?' I am still getting to know the album, but it is intense, and I do enjoy it quite a lot. Autumn Amelia Sinclaire

all I want to say is fuck solid state for clearly not allowing their records on Bandcamp which would include remove the earth and naked and cold. I need them on Bandcamp!!!!! ėṣɓĵ

This is the album that got me into Zao. I had heard Splinter, Blood, and Liberate, but they didn't really do it for me (although I did enjoy the listen). Cue the first track on this album. Within the first 30 seconds I knew I had to have it. Bought the cd within the day. This album is a whole 'nother beast.
Oh, and the clean vocals? SPOT ON. TheSpyHunter
